When complete we will have a very nice booklet that is bound

First download your PDF of the POH that you want to turn into a PDF.

Adjust settings

Ensure the following are checked, all the other options should not be checked

Sheet size: Auto
Annotation: Page number (make it easy to validate you have the correct order)
Orientation: Autorotate
Filename: Booklet

Validate booklet is correct

The booklet PDF has been created
-> to validate it is correct

ORIGINAL FRONT COVER: should be on the RIGHT of the first page of the booklet
ORIGINAL BACK COVER: should be on the LEFT of the first page of the booklet
ORIGINAL SECOND PAGE: should be on the LEFT of the second page of the booklet
ORIGNAL THIRD PAGE: should be on the RIGHT of the third page of the booklet

PRINT settings

When you print your document you should verify the following
- Black and white (colour is not needed)
- 2-sided printing (flip on the short end)
- Page size: Ensure you set 8.5 x 11 OR your booklet will be too large
- PRINT PREVIEW:
ensure on the 2nd page you have the ORIGINAL PDF page 2 on the LEFT
ensure on the 3rd page you have the ORIGINAL PDF page 3 on the RIGHT

IMPORTANT: Before you print the entire book you should print a partial of the entire to ensure these settings also work for you. Change ALL PAGES to 1-5 to get an idea of how it will be. If that prints correctly you can print ALL PAGES.

Binding

To bind your document,
- first you must cut all pages that came out of the printer in half
- Then combine all pages together (ensure you have combined in the correct order so all pages are correct)
- You now have pages 5 1/2 inches accross X 8 1/2 inches vertical
- Puncture the holes on the long side
- Add the binding
