How to tie an aviation knot and keep your aircraft secure.


Knot

This is an aviation knot which is used to keep the airplane secure.

New

First pass the rope through the fastener from the RIGHT to LEFT

New

Pull down with your LEFT hand

New

Pass the rope in front and to the RIGHT towards the back

New

Pull the rope through the hole

New

Keep the rope right with your LEFT hand

New

Pass the to the RIGHT and keep it UNDER the previous wrap

New

Pull the rope through the HOLE
-> Keep the rope under the previous

New

Pull the rope tight
-> As it comes through the hole keep the rope to the LEFT of the previous

New

Pull the rope TIGHT
-> And it should hold itself

New

When you release the rope should now remain tight
-> You are done the FIRST of the knots

New

We are now starting our SECOND of our knots

Pull the in FRONT and to the RIGHT and BACK of the rope

New

Pull the rope through the hole and down

New

Keep your LEFT hand holding the rope right and PULL with your RIGHT hand

New

As you pull the rope through the hole
-> Move the rope to the RIGHT and BACK

New

Keep the rope UNDER the preious and pull through the HOLE

New

As you PULL through keep the rope to the LEFT of the previous rope

New

Pull right and the ropes will now stay
